December milk production surges in France, Germany, Italy, and Poland

Milk production in France, Germany, Italy, and Poland showed a notable growth in December, with all four countries recording some of their strongest monthly growth of the year. Despite declines earlier in the year for some countries, stronger output in the final quarter supported annual production growth. At the same time, a higher nutritional content lifted milk solids availability, while higher supply weighed on farmgate prices toward year-end.
