Short workweek slows onion trade
It is not going very smoothly on the onion market. That applies to trade at the grower level as well as to exports. Differences in quality are partly responsible for this. The fact that we now have a week in which we had King's Day in the Netherlands and the rest of Europe has May 1 does not create extra activity.
