GDT Event 405 of 2nd June 2026

Event 405, the first GDT event of the 26-27 milk season, recorded a decrease of -0.6%. Since the previous GDT event, the market had been giving signals, but GDT event 405 was not in line with that. The result was more modest than the signal that was given by the futures on SGX for both the ‘C2’ and the ‘all contacts’ method which had been respectively -4.0% and -3.4%. The average winning price closed at $ 4.021/mt coming from $ 4.198/mt in the previous event, representing a -4.22% decrease compared to the AWP in Event 404.
