Fonterra flags risks to milk price outlook

Fonterra has increased its forecast milk price for the new season, which runs through to May 2027, by 5 cents to NZ$9.75 per kilogram of milk solids. While this appears to be positive news, CEO Richard Allen was quick to temper expectations, noting that the final milk price remains highly dependent on developments in fuel prices, transport costs, feed and fertiliser expenses.
