EU dairy trade rebounds in April

In April 2026, overall EU dairy exports increased significantly, rising by 4.35%, equivalent to approximately 114 million kilos of liquid milk equivalent (LME). This follows weaker export data in March, when volumes declined by 13.24%, or 342 million kilos LME. During April, export volumes decreased in only three product categories: whey, fermented milk products, and liquid milk.
