GDT event 407 price index falls 4.9% amid the start of the new season

GDT Event 407, the third auction of the 2026/27 milk season, recorded an overall decline of 4.9%. Market signals had already turned bearish following the previous event, and the outcome was fully in line with expectations. The result matched the SGX futures prediction under the C2 methodology exactly. SGX experienced a decline of 4.9% using the C2 method and 4.15% using the All-Contracts method.
