US januari pork exports remain impressive

US pork exports increased year on year in January. According to data from the USDA compiled by the US Meat Export Federation (USMEF) exports were supported by strong demand in Mexico and improved performance in several Asian markets. However, exports fell just short of the record level reached in 2024. Overall performance remained firm despite weaker demand from China.
