The financial crisis in the European piglet sector has continued to deepen. As slaughterhouse pig prices continue to fall, producer margins are also facing a decline. Keeping strict financial strategies is a challenge within the supply chain, as farmers face financial pressures. As a result, the DCA EU-5 Piglet Price Index dropped by another €4.36, falling to €28.58 per piglet.
